The fact that many employees prefer to enjoy all the benefits and privileges rather than work is one of the biggest issues encountered by many firms. Such employees don’t like being held accountable, but they do desire rewards. To highlight this concern, the Department of Humanities, Social Sciences and Modern Languages organized the first of a series of personality development seminars titled as ‘Professional Ethics for Engineers’ for undergraduate engineering students at UET, Lahore. It was successfully conducted by Ms. Hina Samar, Lecturer, Department of Humanities, on September 22, 2022. She enlightened on the significance of professional ethics. She offered guidelines on how one should behave toward other individuals and institutions in a professional environment. This session was meant to create awareness to make the students effective citizens and professionals.
